Starting Times: Both days will have starting times beginning at 9:15am (please contact staff for any tee time requests that will attempt to be accommodated for round 1)

Financial Updates - Pause for Prize Purse Distribution & Invoice Payments  


The NENY PGA & PGA of America are currently in a blackout period for the financial system from April 26-May 5, (Pro Classic #1 & Pro Classic #2 purses will be delayed) as a transition occurs to a new financial system, Workday. 

We will keep our members informed as much as possible but please understand that this will cause a direct interruption in tasks such as A/P, Purse Payments, etc. that will not be able to be completed during the blackout period. 

Members and Associates will receive a direct email prompting you to log into and create a Workday account and all members who have direct deposit your information should be transferred over.

COVID GUIDELINE UPDATES

MASSACHUSETTS
There will no longer be specific “golf facility guidelines” that need to be followed. All courses, clubs, and golf facilities in the State of Massachusetts can implement any additional safety measures as they see fit. 
 * Effective, on Friday, April 30th, Massachusetts will permanently eliminate golf specific guidance and the Face Coverings Order will be relaxed for some outdoor settings, inclusive of golf activity.

NEW YORK STATE 
There has been new guidance issued from the state on fully vaccinated individuals and face mask use.

Governor Cuomo announced many changes are coming and have been approved for restaurant service.

2021 PGA Dues Deadline Extended

The PGA Board of Directors has extended the dues deadline for the 2021 dues billing process from June 30th to August 31st, with no late fee or suspension. These revamped procedures that take into account the challenges presented by COVID-19  pandemic.

Education Topic: Teaching Individuals with Disabilities

Training on: PGA HOPE Golf Program for Military Veterans led by Judy Alvarez, PGA and will include classroom and on the range instruction learning.

We're excited to announce that next week the NENY PGA Section will begin utilizing Retail Tribe for our weekly E-News communications. So this version you're ready may look a little different but it will still be our content and our voice. Our new header is above and all of our members, associates, partners, sales representatives will be receiving an email introducing you to it. We've also included a complete secondary database and goal will be to continue to grow the members who subscribe to our news. 

We certainly hope that you consider sharing the E-News or subscription link with your own club members/guests as we want to continue to shine the news on our PGA Professionals and Section programming and help grow awareness.
