NENY Membership Updates
Congratulations to the following members who just reached the Quarter Century mark (25 years) as of December for PGA membership. Peter Maassmann, PGA Head Professional at Blackhead Mountain & Lodge Golf Course and Tim Podeswa, PGA Instructor.  

The following successfully completed the PGA PGM Program and earned their Class A membership into the Association:
* Joe Lavigna, Assistant Professional at Western Turnpike Golf Course
* Derek Supramato, Assistant Superintendent at Albany CC

2021 PGA Winter Championships
The 2021 Winter Championships are under way. Registration is open for these competitive events that are scheduled for January-February at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL.

PGA Scholarship Program
The PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship application for the 2021-2022 school year became available to children and grandchildren of PGA Members on December 1, 2020.

Empire Golf Expo CANCELLED
The administrators and owners of the Empire Golf & Travel Expo recently announced that the event will NOT be held this year. With the safety of guests, exhibitors and staff in mind with the COVID circumstances, the show will be post-poned until 2022. 
PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit, Presented by OMEGA
Is going virtual on Mon, January 25th

Keeping Golf Open Responsibly update has been reviewed by our medical experts and reflects the learnings and feedback that so many of you have provided since the Playbook was first rolled out last spring.  The goal of this update is very simple - provide operators with an updated playbook that can continue to help keep golf facilities open based on medically endorsed best practices and the socially distanced opportunities our sport provides.
