Introducing Home of the NENY PGA – “The Nest”
In May 2024, Eagle Crest Golf Club proudly expanded its offering by taking over the property next door, creating The Nest, a family-friendly destination designed to bring the joy of golf to people of all ages and abilities. Our vision is to nurture a lifelong love of the game by providing a pathway for children and families to grow with golf.

At The Nest, we believe in starting small and dreaming big. Kids can begin their golf journey with a fun and imaginative round on our 18-hole mini golf course, progress to mastering skills on the 9-hole Par-3 course, and, one day, take on the challenge of the full 18-hole course at Eagle Crest Golf Club.

We are proud to host the NENY PGA Office at The Nest, home to the Section & Foundation operations where they lead a variety of player development and learning programs that include instruction, hands on play or both for children of all ages. These programs not only teach the fundamentals of the game but also instill valuable life skills like perseverance, sportsmanship, and confidence.

The Nest at Eagle Crest is more than just a golf facility- it’s a place where memories are made, skills are developed, and a love for the game is sparked. We’re excited to be part of your family’s golfing journey!

Welcome to the NENY PGA Junior Golf Player Development Program Listing! If you are interested in signing up your junior for a program, please read this important information below to acknowledge what program is right for you!

#GameChanger (Annual Membership Fee)
For all player development programs via PGA Jr. League registration platform – there is a one-time annual membership fee referred to as #GameChanger. The player is required to pay an annual fee of $110 (for the first program they register into) which includes access to their local program and then participation in as many seasons as desired throughout the year for the coaching fee only after the one-time payment. This membership includes custom uniforms and team kits, a digital center with fun games and events, and opportunities from partners and sponsors. Learn more about #GameChanger Club HERE

Example:
Register your junior for Kids Play Birdies (Spring Season) $260. This cost is $110 #GameChanger Fee (1-time fee) + $150 Coaching Fee
Register same junior for Kids Play Birdies (Summer Season) $150 Coaching Fee only

New for 2025 the Game Changer fee also includes access to PGA Family Golf events.  PGA Family Golf exists to bring families of all ages and skill levels together on the golf course through an inclusive format that allows everyone to play and contribute. The NENY PGA Section will be hosting 3 PGA Family Golf events at the Nest in 2025:

• Saturday, June 7th (Wear your favorite sports teams jersey!)
• Saturday, July 12th (Red, White & Blue Day!)
• Saturday, October 25th (Halloween Costume Day!)

Skill Key:
New: Junior has never played golf.
Beginner: Junior has played golf and has basic knowledge of golf equipment, etiquette and rules.
Intermediate: Junior has played on a golf course and has moderate knowledge of golf equipment, etiquette and rules.
Advanced: Junior has played or is ready for competitive golf tournaments with nearly full knowledge of playing on the golf course.
