Welcome to the NENY PGA Junior Golf Player Development Program Listing! If you are interested in signing up your junior for a program, please read this important information below to acknowledge what program is right for you!

#GameChanger (Annual Membership Fee)
For all player development programs via PGA Jr. League registration platform – there is a one-time annual membership fee referred to as #GameChanger. The player is required to pay an annual fee of $110 (for the first PGJL they register into) which includes access to their local program and then participation in as many seasons as desired throughout the year for the coaching fee only after the one-time payment. This membership includes custom uniforms and team kits, a digital center with fun games and events, and opportunities from partners and sponsors. Learn more about #GameChanger Club HERE

Register your junior for Kids Play Birdies (Spring Season) $260. This cost is $110 #GameChanger Fee (1-time fee) + $150 Coaching Fee
Register same junior for Kids Play Birdies (Summer Season) $150 Coaching Fee only

Game Changer also includes FREE ACCESS to 3 family golf events at the Nest! More information will come when you sign up for any of the programs. Family Cup dates are:

Skill Key:
New: Junior has never played golf.
Beginner: Junior has played golf and has basic knowledge of golf equipment, etiquette and rules.
Intermediate: Junior has played on a golf course and has moderate knowledge of golf equipment, etiquette and rules.
Advanced: Junior has played or is ready for competitive golf tournaments with nearly full knowledge of playing on the golf course.

Kids Play Golf – Birdies

Ages 3-5

Skill Level: New

Kids Play Golf – (Birdies) Is a youth golf introduction for ages 3-5 that incorporates story-based learning along with golf fundamentals in small groups. Kids will learn golf and have loads of fun following the story of “Birdie”, a small bird that wants to help her friends by completing golf related tasks.

The Session will run from 5:15PM-6:15PM, Wednesday evenings from May 14th- June 4th (4 Sessions) at the newly opened Nest Par 3 course at Eagle Crest Golf Club! No clubs or equipment needed! Limited spots available!

Kids Play Golf – Eagles

Ages 6-11

Skill Level: New to Beginner

KidsPlay Golf – (Eagles) is a fun, entry-level introduction to golf designed for girls and boys ages 6-11 with little or no previous experience. KidsPlay Golf shatters the myth that golf is difficult or boring for children. It includes fun games – like playing tic-tac-toe on a putting green – as well as contests and giveaways.

Golf clubs and other equipment designed especially for kids are provided for all students. Our Starting New at Golf (SNAG) and Short Golf gear feature plastic color-coded handles to help teach proper grip, oversized club heads, tennis balls and targets. Juniors ages 6-11 train skills with station based practice that allows them to learn golf through fun games and play.

The goal is to ensure that kids experience success, which builds confidence and encourages them to continue. Sessions will be at the newly opened Nest at Eagle Crest Golf Club on Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM-8 PM from May 14th-June 4th (4 Sessions).

Kids Play Plus – Operation 36

Ages 10-17

Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced

Kids Play Plus (Operation 36) is an instructional golf program for ages 10-17 looking to learn and improve on their golf skills with skill based stations and on course play. PGA Professionals and coaches will use the Operation 36 curriculum to work back from the green to the tee with the goal in mind to shoot 36 from various yardages.

Classes will be 3:45PM-5:45PM for beginner to intermediate skill levels and 6-8 PM for advanced skill levels on Thursday evenings from May 15th-June 5th at the newly opened Nest at Eagle Crest Golf Club!

Registration closes on April 21st.

Kids Play Plus League – 13U

Ages 13 & Under

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Junior Golfers will play on course in a low stress 2-3 person scramble team format. Matches will be held at the The Nest at Eagle Crest each Sunday from May 18th- June 15th. We hope to register enough juniors in the Kids Play Plus League to have an “in-house” league of 4 teams with 8-10 kids per team.

-Kids Play Plus will NOT have instruction/coaching JUST ON-COURSE PLAY.
-Matches will be Sunday evenings from 5-7 PM.
-Tee times will be assigned weekly and sent out directly prior to their matches on Sundays.
-Teams will rotate weekly so juniors will have the opportunity to play each team.
-There will be 4 weeks of “regular season” play with championship matches being held on the 5th week.

Registration closes on April 28th.

Kids Play Golf – Birdies

Ages 3-5

Skill Level: New

NENY PGA/ Eagle Crest Junior League (13U)

Ages 13U

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

NENY PGA/Eagle Crest Golf Club are joining forces for an unforgettable Junior Golf Experience at the newly opened Nest @ Eagle Crest Golf Club! Our junior League program will feature 7 Practices and 6 Scramble golf matches with award winning PGA Instruction! Students will learn and improve their golf skills and turn their practice into competition.

Our goal is to have 4 teams that will rotate practices in 1 and a half hour increments on Tuesday evenings from 3 PM-9 PM and play in team scramble matches on Thursday’s from 530-730. The season will start on Tuesday June 3rd and complete with final matches on Thursday July 17th each week having a practice and a match. June 3rd will be a meet the coaches pizza party practice and all juniors will be invited to any family golf events after the season at no charge!

NENY PGA/ Eagle Crest Junior League (17U)

Ages 17U

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

We hope to register enough juniors in the Kids Play Plus League to have an “in-house” league of 4 teams with 8-10 kids per team.
