2019 Special Awards & Hall of Fame Nominations -- NOW Open!

For our NENY PGA Section Membership - Our 2019 Special Awards and Hall of Fame nominations are now open as of our Fall Meeting last week and will nominations will remain open through December 31st.

Please take a moment to send us a deserving PGA Professional eligible for any of our Special Awards.

First Annual Junior College Night a Success

Last week, the NENY PGA Section hosted a Junior Collegiate Night at Pinehaven Country Club with a full house of nearly 40 juniors and their parents! Special thanks to our panel made up of PGA Golf Professionals & College Coaches, our Career Consultant and a Teaching Professional:

The Committee's, Board and staff have begun digging into programming and looking at 2020 section planning and beyond and should you have any inquiries about hosting any type of events from:
* Education Seminars
* Junior Tournaments (1 day and 2 day)
* Professional Tournaments (1 day and 2 day)
* Drive Chip & Putt Host Site
* Meetings

Quarter Century Membership
Congratulations to Kevin Canale, PGA General Manager & Head Professional at Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course who recently earned his Quarter Century mark! Kevin has spent all 25 years of his membership right here in the NENY PGA Section. Congrats!

Challenge Cup Team Comes Out On Top
A big shout out to our own NENY PGA Section team who tallied up a win over the CNY PGA neighboring team last week in the rescheduled Challenge Cup with a final of 22 points to 14 points. The cup remains with the NENY PGA until next year's event. Thanks to all of our professionals who took the time to participate and to The Edison Club for hosting the event!

2019 was another record breaking year for PGA Jr. League as we surpassed 62,000 juniors taking part across the country! Thank you to each and every one of you for all that you do to grow the game at your facilities!
