Are You In Champions Cup Yet?

Reminder that our Section Tounament Rules & Regulations call for a member to be registered into Champions Cup in order to be eligible to earn points into NENY PGA OMEGA Player of The Year Points.

Cost prior to Monday, April 22 (Pro Classic #1) - $50
Cost AFTER Monday, April 22 - $100
Deadline for Champions Cup Entry: Sunday, June 9th

*The Top 20 following the Match Play Championship will be eligible to compete in the Tour Championship WITH NO entry fee. Players outside of the top 20 will be able to compete in the Tour Championship with a $200 entry fee.

Quiet week as everyone gets settled into their positions.

Still seeking to fill an Assistant Professional role is Albany Country Club. Any interested parties should contact PGA Head Professional, Glenn Davis at (518) 765-2854

Leatherstocking Golf Course has not finalized the incoming Head Professional search as of yet, and anticipates a final candidate to be announced in the coming weeks.

Don't forget that all employment changes and final classification confirmations should be DONE by May 1st when the dues billing process will begin for the PGA of America.

Are you interested in the Operation 36 Program? The NENY PGA Section has begun an umbrella partnership with Operation 36 and if you are interested in learning more and want to join in on building our network of dedicated professionals and facilities that will help you grow your facility, instruction revenue, and happy golfers through this innovative technology and coaching program - that is completely app based.

Operation 36 does require monthly/annual subscription rates but under the NENY PGA Section umbrella, our PGA Section Professionals receive special pricing.

Christian Torres, NENY PGA Player Developement Coordinator will be using Operation 36 for Kids Play Plus programming this year and is happy to help answer any questions you may have on the utiliziation, benefit and how to get started.
