** COVID-19 - NY & Massachusetts Golf **

There is no new information or response from the collective New York PGA Sections in relation to the clarity of the Guidelines of Golf from the ESD for golf in NY and as of the time of this writing (Friday, April 24th in the late afternoon) - Massachusetts is still on a Pause Order with no golf until May 4th.

Dave Lewis, NENY PGA Lifetime Retired member is relocating. Dave and his wife are heading south to be near family and will transfer from the NENY PGA Section to the Maryland PGA Section. Dave worked as the Head Professional at Van Patten Golf Course for 12 years until 2010 when he retired. Golf Emergency Relief Fund - Phase 2

Based on the thousands of registrants, funds currently allocated to Phase 1 of the Fund are now capped. However, the good news is that Phase 2 was always planned and details of it will be coming as soon as they're made available from E4E. This phase will be a longer applicaiton process and distribute grants of up to $3,500 as reviewed and approved by E4E. Timing is expected to be up and running in the next few weeks.
