There is still plenty of time to take a moment and send in a nomination of a fellow section professional for a 2019 NENY PGA Section Special Award!
Deadline is: December 31, 2019!
Please feel free to check out the webpage below with specific criteria & eligibility of each award and you can also download a formal form to submit. Section staff will take nominations via phone, email and text as well for your convenience.
As the NENY PGA Section staff, committees and leadership are deep into Committee planning we will be occassionally sending out a few surveys as data/stats and a more complete picture of information will assist in our membership program planning.
Below is a link that we're hopeful to gather a well rounded view of our PGA facilities "major" events/competitive playing opportunities. The survey should take less than 5 minutes and only includes 5 questions - some of which may not even apply to your specific facility.
We're pleased to share the big news below and celebrate in the milestones:
Scott Battiste, PGA Head Professional at Eagle Crest GC recent wedding to bride Kayla. Congrats Scott & Kayla. Wishing you health and happiness!
District 1 Director, Ian Marshall, PGA (Connecticut PGA) & his wife, Ami welcomed a new addition to the family, baby Matthew. Matthew arrived 5 weeks early and is now the youngest brother to Andrew (age 13) and Nathan (age 11). Congrats Marshall family!
World Handicap System Toolkit The World Handicap System (WHS) Toolkit, provided by the USGA, provides PGA Members with information about the World Handicap System and Rules of Handicapping.
"The Early Bird Gets the Worm" - Now is the time to get registered as a PGA Junior League Captain. Take note that player registration will be opening next month. There is a direct correlation to the total number of players a facility ends up with and how soon the facility itself gets registered. Parents are looking and planning!
Also be sure to check out PGA Family Cup--- a really great addition to your club/event programming and make it fit in a manner that will be successful for your facility!
