Membership Updates

Bob Aronowitz, Assistant Professional at Waubeeka Golf Links last season has transferred to the Connecticut PGA Section and is working as an Assistant Professional at Springfield Country Club in West Springfield, MA.

NENY PGA HOPE CHAPTER TO BEGIN IN AUGUST @ Town of Colonie GC

Still dealing in the midst of COVID, we're thrilled to announce our NENY PGA Section flagship program hosted at the Town of Colonie GC has been confirmed and will be a condensed version. This year instead of a 7 week long program, it will be shortened to 4 weeks of 2 hours of instructional sessions and on-course access most of the month of August to all veterans.

Mondays, August 10th; 17th; 24th and 31st from 4:00pm-6:00pm. *Graduation ceremony/day will be Monday, August 31st

We are seeking additional PGA Member/Associate to serve as Instructors if you have the time and availability to take part in this program please contact Christian Torres, NENY PGA Director of Player Development at ctorres@pgahq.com
Class A professional instructors will be compensated $50/per hour and Associates are $35/per hour.

We are working closely with the Albany/Stratford VA located in Albany and class size is LIMITED to 25 so all veterans must register in advance for the program through Christian. 518-791-6548.

Generous gifts from caring friends like you helped the Double H Camp meet - and exceed - our $100,000 matching gift goal! Together, you helped us raise over $150,000 to support Double H Ranch's innovative and alternative programs this summer.

If you are one of the generous individuals who donated, thank you so much. As we enter our third summer session of the Camp@HHome program, your gift will go to work immediately to help bring joy and the magic of camp to the many children who are joining us safely from wherever they are.
