Top 20 Professionals Exempt Into Tour Championship
Tues, Oct. 8- Wed, Oct. 9 at Albany CC
Starting Times: 9:00AM (both days)

Only the Tour Chamionship remains on the section tournament calendar for a MAJOR OMEGA Player of the Year points event. Wtih that, following the Match Play Championship earlier this week,, the top 20 professionals on the current OMEGA Standings have earned an exemption for NO ENTRY FEE into the season-ending Tour Championship. *The top 20 can register for NO entry fee.

*Any other Class A Member can register to play in the Tour Championship ($200/entry Fee)

*Optional skins entry for all players for $20/per round that must be entered and paid for prior to the entry deadline

*Tour Championship has it's own Tournament Prize Purse Payout

*The Champions Cup Bonus Payout will be determined by the Champions Cup points Reset and Tour Championship Cup bonus points accumulated. See chart info HERE

*NENY PGA OMEGA Player of the Year will be determined at the completion of the Tour Championship

Deadline for Entry: Thursday, October 3rd

Local NENY PGA Juniors Competing
in Regional DCP This Weekend

On Sunday, September 26th, five of the juniors in the field who will be teeing it up in the 2019 Regional Drive, Chip & Putt Competition at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT will be NENY PGA Junior players!

This is the last hurdle for the juniors and only THE TOP junior in each age division will advance and qualify for the 2020 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship hosted at Augusta National GC next April!

Best of luck to our NENY PGA Senior Players as they are getting read to head to the southwest part of the country for the 31st Senior PGA Professional Championship! The Championship Presented by Cadillac and Supported by Golf Channel & John Deere will be contested at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX on October 3-6, 2019. The field of seniors will compete for two rounds prior to a cut and then the low 35 scorers will earn a berth into the 2020 Senior PGA Championship in Benton Harbor, MI.

A big congratulations goes out to the following individuals who aren't totally new to the golf business but have both recently successfully passed their Playing Ability Test at Schenectady Municipal GC last week and are on their way towards pursuit of PGA Membership. Way to go guys!
