2021 Professional Champ Field is Set - With 3 NENY Professionals Competing

The deadline for entry confirmation was last night and will have 3 NENY PGA Members competing in the Championship. Qualifying from last year's NENY PGA Professional Championship is Scott Berliner (Saratoga Spa GC) and Glenn Davis (Albany CC) and Eric Mabee (CC of Pittsfield) made it in as an alternate.

The Championship will be contested at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida later this month, April 25-28. Presented by: Cadillac, Club Car, Rolex -- Supported by: Titleist/ FootJoy, Nike, TaylorMade Golf -- Supporting Partners: Golf Channel, PGA TOUR

Tournament Players - Get Signed Up for the NENY Rolex POY Eligibility

With the PGA of America's expansive agreement with Rolex inclusive is Presenting Partner of the PGA of America's and all PGA Section's Player of the Year Awards. Click HERE for more on PGA-Rolex announcement.

Registration for the NENY PGA Section ROLEX Champions Cup allows PGA Members to compete for NENY PGA Player of the Year. The Top 20 following the Match Play Championship will be eligible to compete in the Tour Championship with no entry fee. Players outside of the top 20 will be able to compete in the Tour Championship with a $200 entry fee.

Champions Cup Fee: $50 prior to June 22 (Pro Classic #2) - $100 after June 22 to prior to the beginning of the Pro Classic #4 on July 20.

John Neet, PGA will take on a new role this season as the Director of Instruction at Normanisde CC. John was previously employed at Dick's Sporting Goods in addition to teaching at The Edison Club.

Congrats to Rocky Catalano, PGA Head Professional at Ausable Club who earned his Quarter Century membership mark this month!

A big congratulations to Van Patten Golf Club professionals - Adam Panagopoulos, Head Professional along with his Assistant Caleb Mosier BOTH just completed their PGA PGM Program and have earned Class A member election as of April 1, 2021.

New York State Travel Quarantine Update

In regard to travel, Governor Cuomo announced earlier this month that domestic travelers will NO LONGER be required to quarantine after entering New York from another U.S. State or U.S. Territory starting April 1st. Mandatory quarantine remains in effect for international travelers. All travelers must continue to fill out the Traveler Health Form: https://forms.ny.gov/s3/Welcome-to-New-York-State-Traveler-Health-Form

Regardless of quarantine status, all individuals exposed to COVID-19 or returning from travel must:
- Continue daily symptom monitoring through Day 14;
- Continue strict adherence to all recommended safety measures, including hand hygiene and the use of face coverings, through Day 14 (even if fully vaccinated);
- Immediately self-isolate if any symptoms develop and contact the local public health authority or their healthcare provider to report this change in clinical status and determine if they should seek testing.
