** State Golf Guidance Updates **

New York State
Guidance for golf in New York State has been updated as of Thursday, March 25, 2021.

The updated guidelines continue to stress consideration for the safety and health of golfing customers and it does include explicit language providing for two riders in golf carts as well as use of on course items like bunker rakes and flagsticks, and a reference to outdoor gatherings as it might pertain to events.

Clarification on whether the statement beginning with "keep golf bag in possession" implied that caddie use is permitted (with face coverings when social distancing is not possible) and the answer was--Yes.

The guidelines are posted on the NY State web site and may be distributed for public consumption with golf specific language being addressed in pages 8-9.
