Welcome back to Scott Frazier, PGA. Scott started last year as the PGA Head Professional at Sacandaga Golf Club but returns to his home residence in the off-season and works as an Instuctor at the First Tee of Roanoke in Roanoke, VA. in the Middle Atlantic PGA.

Daniel Lapierre, is a new PGA Associate and started working as an Assistant Profesisonal at Stockbridge Golf Club this year. Daniel previously worked at the Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Sprngfield, MA. Welcome Daniel!

NENY PGA Junior Golf Coordinator Staff Hire

Please be sure to give a warm welcome to Laura Rentz when you see her! Laura will be beginning next week as the NENY PGA Section's seasonal staff in the position of Junior Golf Coordinator. Her main responsibility will be coordinating and administering much of our Junior Tour Series and events that run through the summer season. However, she will be at some of our NENY PGA Professional tournaments when her schedule permits.

Laura isn't a stranger the NENY PGA and was a member of the Junior Tour and very active player and attended Columbia High School. She has just finished her sophomore year at Stevenson Univeristy (Owings Mills, MD) where she is pursuing a degree in nursing and competes on their women's golf team. She has 6 career individual wins under belt and 5 MAC Conference Player of the Week awards. Laura also worked last year at the Section's Kids Play Golf program as an assistant instructor and plays golf out of Olde Kinderhook Golf Club. We're excited to have her on our team this season!

NENY PGA Hole of the Week Standings
Still early with only a total of 6 holes eligibile into the Satch Sales Hole of the Week competition Mike Decker, PGA Assistant Professional is in the lead at -1 par . The competition is open to any NENY PGA Professional who competes in a points event. View the link for more details on the season-long competition.

Don't forget PGA Dues invoicing is compelted and deadline date before late fees/drop fees is June 30!

Registration Opportunities for
PGM 2.0 Level 3 Seminars
With the transition of PGM2.0 to PGM3.0, PGA Educaiton has extetnded two additional opportunities to attend PGA PGM 2.0 Level 3 seminars beyond the currently scheduled May 20-24 and June 17-21 seminars.
If you have compelted Level 2, and have the ability to attend, you are encouraged to register as soon as possible and if those don't fit your schedule, plan on attending one of the two additional seminars being conducted September 29th-October 4th or December 16th-20th.
