2020 Season - PGA Junior League Captain Registration Open

Captain registration for the 2020 Summer Season of PGA Jr. League is open! As a reminder, Captains must be PGA Members, PGA Associates or LPGA Members in good standing to register. Give Christian a call at the office or connect with Brian Bain our section's PGA Regional League Manager to plan your season and ask any questions you may have questions.

Make sure you're int the know about the coming changes to the World Handicap System which is intended to be a benefit to golfers everywhere.

You can increase you're awareness now at the website below and also be sure to mark your calendar for the NENY PGA Education Seminar on the WHS presented by Bill Moore, Executive Director of the NY State Golf Association that will be open to our members and your own club representatives or Handicap Chairpersons to cover all the new changes.

*At the seminar, you will also be able to take the online assessment that is required of every club for your GHIN service to be in effect.

Berliner's Play Earns Exemption

Scott Berliner's superb play and finish of T3rd place at the recent National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida has earned him an exemption into next year's Championship by finishing within the top four plus ties.

** All PGA Assistants & PGA Associates mark your 2020 calendar date for Tuesday, Sept. 8th for the Section's PGA Assistant Championship - Qualifier for the National Championship!

New Facility Opens
Congratulations to all involved and welcome to The Bunker, a new indoor golf facility located on Western Avenue in Guilderland, NY who just celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce. PGA Head Professional, Jeff Betti, teaches at the facility.
