Take The PGA Compensation Survey

The Section requests your participation in helping to ensure that one of our Association's most powerful employment tools remains effective for you and other PGA Professionals.

By completing the 2019 PGA Golf Professional Compensation Survey by March 31, 2019, you can receive up to two (2) Member Service Requirement (MSR) credits. MSR credit is automatically applied upon completion of the survey with a summary of your responses available for your records.

High Resolution Photos Requested
One of our major initiatives will be getting and building a photo library of local section high resolution photos! If your facility or you have these for your own websites or marketing efforts, we would love to have them if you would share them with us!

We're looking for anything and everything from photos of you, your facility/course, instruction and clinics, and more!

Congratulations to Brian Lowe, PGA Head Professional at Catskill Golf Club who reached Quarter Century Status of his PGA Membership this month!

Wishing Scott Delair, former Assistant at Malone Golff Club all the best as he continues his career on in the golf industry. Scott is currently working at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ for the winter but has just accepted a position as an Assistant and Club Fitter at Sittler Golf Center in Kutztown, PA

Employment
Recently a posting went out via CareerLinks or the Leatherstocking Golf Club Director of Golf Position. Dan Spooner, PGA Senior Director of Golf will be retiring at the end of the 2019 season. Please take note that the club has elected to use a 3rd party group, Golf Business Advisors to help them perform their search so the CareerLinks notice and the information included in it went out to those who met the qualifications set and was simply provied to us to be disperrsed as a communication vehicle. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Tracie or Chris Kulinksi and we can attempt to assist.

Reminder Burden Lake CC is still seeking a Head Professional with that resume closing date going into Februrary 15th.

Empire Golf & Travel Expo

March 16th-17th at the Albany Capital Center

The Expo provides the an interactive experience comprised of seminars, contests, and a wide range of products and services geared or the casual and serious golfer alike.

Sell your products, promotions, inventory and expand your business while networking with other professionals and generate interest in your business! Many pro's bring their merchandise concession and sell at the Expo. If you feel you don't have enough inventory, you are encouraged to team up with a fell professional to fill a booth!
