We had a great turnout of nearly 40 local families attending our Junior College and Golf Career Workshop this week hosted by Mohawk Golf Club. Special thanks to our panelists who shared some great discussions on competitive junior opportunities, recruiting process, collegiate athlete life, and more.

Get connected and engage with more students. Last week, the section hosted a virtual webinar on PGA.Coach led by Jeff Price, Chief Marketing Officer of the PGA of America, and Ted Logan, Director of Player Development for the PGA. There were fifty-one attendees on hand at our first in-person membership meeting in 2 years. On Monday, October 25th, Saratoga National Golf Club hosted the 2021 Fall Membership Meeting with 45 members and associates. The following members were elected to a 2-year term Director-at-Large Board positions:

Sanger’s win of the Tour Championship was enough of a points swing to bump him into the first place standings of season long ROLEX Champions Cup Points race and to take home the ##INTROTEXT##,650 in first place prize earnings.

Tickets For DCP

Since the Drive, Chip & Putt initiative in 2013, there have been three juniors who have competed from the NENY PGA in the National Finals. Last weekend, at the Regional DCP Competition, nine juniors from our local area competed, and three of them finished in first place in their age division. They will advance to the Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals on April 3rd, 2022.
