** COVID-19 – New York Pause Order Extended until May 15th
& Statement from the NENY PGA Section Leadership **
Per Governor Cuomo’s update given yesterday, the “Pause Order” that was in effect until April 29th has now been moved back to May 15th.
Golf course operations still remain in the same status – defineded specifically as not *essential businesses* since the ESD’s last update.

As of Thursday, April 9th at 8am the Empire State Development issued revised guidance which states specifically that golf courses are not *essential businesses* for purpose of the Governor’s Pause order.
The NENY PGA Section leadership urges all golf course business operations to stop to be in compliance with the new revisions.
